These Terms & Conditions apply to the use of kuberafreight.com and to all freight, cargo handling, warehousing and moving services provided by Kubera Freight, a proprietorship of Srikant Kumar Suraj (GSTIN 10EMZPS8739H1Z6), Patna, Bihar. By using this website or booking our services, you agree to these terms.
1. Quotes and bookings
- Quotes are based on the information you provide (route, goods, weight/volume, date). If actual details differ, the price may change.
- A booking is confirmed only when we accept it and agree the price, pickup date and any advance payment.
- Prices are exclusive of GST and other applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Tolls, loading/unloading labour, waiting charges or extra stops may be charged separately if agreed.
2. Customer responsibilities
- Declare the correct nature, quantity, weight and value of goods.
- Provide valid invoices, e-way bills and other documents required by law, and correct consignee details.
- Pack goods suitably for road transport unless packing is part of the agreed service.
- Do not hand over prohibited, illegal, hazardous or restricted goods (including explosives, flammable or toxic materials, narcotics, or goods requiring special permits) unless agreed in writing with the required permits.
3. Pickup and delivery
We aim to meet agreed pickup and delivery times, but timelines are estimates. Delays caused by traffic, weather, road closures, government restrictions, strikes, vehicle breakdowns or other events beyond our reasonable control do not make us liable for consequential losses.
4. Liability for goods
- Our liability for loss of or damage to goods in our custody is governed by the Carriage by Road Act, 2007 and the terms on the goods receipt/consignment note issued for the shipment.
- We are not liable for loss or damage arising from improper packing by the customer, inherent defects or nature of the goods, incorrect declarations, or events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure).
- We recommend insuring valuable goods. Goods are not insured by us unless insurance is specifically arranged and paid for.
- Any visible damage or shortage must be noted on the delivery document at the time of delivery, and claims must be raised in writing within 7 days of delivery.
5. Payment
Payment terms (advance, on delivery or credit) are agreed at the time of booking. We may hold delivery of goods until agreed charges are paid. A GST invoice is issued for every service.
6. Cancellation
Cancellations and refunds are handled as described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
7. Use of this website
Content on this website, including the Kubera Freight name and logo, belongs to Kubera Freight and may not be copied or used without permission. Information on the website is for general guidance; see our Disclaimer.
8. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Patna, Bihar shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve any issue amicably.
